Protecting Democracy and Securing Our Elections

Please join Pitt Cyber and the Institute of Politics for a special hybrid event featuring Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson in conversation with Pitt Cyber Founding Director David Hickton. Secretary Benson and Director Hickton will discuss state-level approaches to election security, accessibility, and preparations for the 2022 elections – and what it means for American democracy.

There is limited in-person seating available in the Gold Room at the University Club. To attend the event in person, sign-up here. If registration is full, please add your name to the waitlist and you will be contacted if/when a spot becomes available.  All in-person attendees are required to follow the University's COVID-19 Standards and Guidelines. Boxed lunches will be available at the end of the event.
