Our Greater Pittsburgh CyberHub, in partnership with InnovatePGH, the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, and the Pittsburgh Tech Council works with industry, higher ed, K-12 education, and workforce development programs to position our region as a leader in developing today’s—and tomorrow’s—cybersecurity professionals.

Air Force Association CyberCamp

Pitt Cyber’s AFA CyberCamp is free and designed for high school students with a range of technical skill levels, including introductory digital literacy. The week-long program is focused on cyber ethics and systems security.

Pitt Cyber, supported by AT&T, is developing Upstander Junior, an assembly program for middle schools with an ongoing mentoring component to help students fight cyberbullying.

Pittsburgh Data Jam

The Pittsburgh Data Jam is an academic competition for high schoolers, teaching students how to use big data to answer a research question. Students learn skills pertaining to the scientific method, data analysis, and how to give scientific presentations.
